Russian support personnel work to help get crew members out of a Soyuz spacecraft shortly after the capsule landed outside Arkalyk, Kazakhstan. The crew, from the U.S., Russia, and Japan, were in the International Space Station for five months.

Ominous Clouds Over Ohio
A cloud formation, proposed in 2009 as a separate cloud classification by the founder of the Cloud Appreciation Society. It could be the first cloud formation added since cirrus intortus in 1951 to the International Cloud Atlas of the World Meteorological Organization. The name translates approximately as roughened or agitated waves.

Russia wants to build a base in the Moon’s underground tunnels
NASA’s Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter recently snapped that high-resolution shot of a subterranean cavern in the Moon’s Sea of Tranquility. This has led some scientists to believe there could be a complex labyrinth of tunnels beneath the lunar surface.
Russia apparently wants to use them for Moon colonies … as soon as 2030?
